Location is the key to any events success and, set in its own quiet grounds. Only minutes from junction 33 of the M1 but still only 10 minutes from Sheffield city centre, this Grade II listed former Georgian Rectory is a great place to hold any event large or small.

Proudly independent of any large chains this not for profit organisation has been hosting conferences and meetings in our variety of rooms for over 40 years, giving us the experience to take the stress out of your event and offer a sense of professionalism coupled with a warm and friendly atmosphere that will be conducive to the prosperity of your corporate event.

The Old Rectory is perfectly placed adjacent to St. Mary's Church to act as your Wedding Reception Venue in Sheffield.

In addition to catering for large corporate events, we regularly hold Birthday, Wedding anniversary and Baptism parties, as well as Funeral teas.

What we can Offer

We have a choice of 5 rooms available to hire, either as conference facilities or for special Ocassion hire, with capacities ranging from 5 people to 150 people. All the rooms can be used in theatre, boardroom or banqueting style. You can also use a combination of rooms for example a large theatre style conference in the main hall and various break out or smaller meeting rooms along side.

We can offer a full catering and refreshments service from arrival teas and coffees, through to sit down or buffet lunches and even through into an evening meal with a fully licensed bar.

The venue boasts free on site parking for up to 36 cars.

We can also offer equipment hire of O.H.P's, screens, flip charts, power point projectors, TV and Video and even a laptop should you require one.

All profits generated, from your event will be used for the on going restoration of the building and to subsidise and facilitate community activities held on the site.
