Statement from the Trustees of The Old Rectory Handsworth Community Centre Ltd.
The Old Rectory has provided its services over the past 10 years through an independent charity and associates limited company however, in these extraordinary times we, like countless other small charities and business, found ourselves having to re-evaluate our position in order to meet the unprecedented demands that the current Coronavirus crisis has placed upon us all.
Sadly, despite our very best efforts and in anticipation that Government restrictions on social gatherings will continue for the large part of 2020, we have taken the difficult decision to cease Old Rectory Handsworth activities with immediate effect and have placed the charity and associated limited company into the hands of a qualified Insolvency Practitioner. BHP Corporate Solutions have been instructed to assist in placing the charity and associated company into voluntary liquidation. You may contact BHP at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Although the Charity and associated limited company have now ceased trading, we want to inform you that the Old Rectory buildings and land remains the property of St Mary’s Church Handsworth.
We have been in communication with the church and they believe it can remain a resource to the community and they hope that the majority of the social and community groups will continue to use the centre again once the Government restrictions are lifted, and if you have any questions please contact them as below.
Email to: email@example.com
They shall endeavour to respond to any questions as is appropriate and in the meantime the trustees wish to thank you for your custom and support over the years.
